Authority boundary
PatientArc organizes front-desk work, prepares drafts, flags missing next steps, and groups patient journey tasks for staff review across recall, communication, benefits, and claim prep. It does not diagnose patients, replace clinical judgment, guarantee insurance coverage, submit claims automatically, send patient-facing messages without staff approval, or decide care, billing, or treatment actions on its own.
Escalation
Conflicting patient data triggers a Review Required flag and notifies the Practice Manager by push notification.
Independent audit
SOC 2 Type II certified March 2025
Scope: Security, Availability, and Confidentiality of the PatientArc Cloud Environment.
Encryption
AES-256 at rest; TLS 1.3 in transit
Access
MFA required for administrative roles
SSO through Azure AD and Okta is supported.
AI and client data
No client PII used to train global LLMs
Data is siloed per organization.
